Ragnarok<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inspired by “Ragnarok”: the Doom of the Gods in Norse Mythology<\/em><\/p>\n

Three years shall frost rage wild<\/p>\n

In chaos to portend<\/p>\n

An age for each doomed child<\/p>\n

Of the All-father\u2019s friend<\/p>\n

And she who offers sorrow<\/p>\n

From whence will dawn the morrow<\/p>\n

When they from death will borrow<\/p>\n

An army for the end<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The moon and sun devoured<\/p>\n

The sky: of pitch and tar<\/p>\n

White clouds and blue sea scoured<\/p>\n

The mourning Morning Star<\/p>\n

Nine realms ablaze and riven<\/p>\n

Dim drowning worlds driven<\/p>\n

Through old feuds unforgiven<\/p>\n

Old wounds; that ancient scar<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And so will dawn the ending<\/p>\n

And so the sea will dry<\/p>\n

The Light\u2019s Rebirth impending<\/p>\n

Will sweep away the sky<\/p>\n

And run you may in grieving<\/p>\n

Or claim this Fate deceiving<\/p>\n

But death is all-believing<\/p>\n
