White (assigned class reading)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Part of the book is sad, but it gets happier. \u00a0The end is sad and then happier again.<\/li>\n<li>Bittersweet<\/li>\n<li>E.B. White is good at describing the emotions of the characters and life, death, love, friendship and changes.<\/li>\n<li>I feel that the book is not magical enough for my taste. \u00a0I wish Charlotte would have been more magical and the ending for her different.<\/li>\n<li>It is a sweet story and has a fast start.<\/li>\n<li>It is a beautiful classic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Trumpet of the Swan<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0by E.B. White (some students read this)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The book is fun and magical.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s kind of a love story, sweet.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s a love story in many different ways, not just the boy-girl kind!<\/li>\n<li>It might not be as good for kids younger than us &#8212; they might get scared or might not understand parts of it about people\/characters who are different.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Stewart Little\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>by E.B. White (some students read this)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I didn&#8217;t think it&#8217;s a great story because Stewart Little is full of hope but didn&#8217;t get what he wanted.<\/li>\n<li>A very adventurous story.<\/li>\n<li>The beginning is too weird for a person to give birth to a mouse!<\/li>\n<li>I liked it because it&#8217;s sort of a love story.<\/li>\n<li><em>Stewart Little<\/em> would have been a great book if it hadn&#8217;t left you in suspense &#8212; an epilogue would have been great. \u00a0I wanted to find out what happened to Stewart after the book ended.<\/li>\n<li>There are some interesting parts but a lot of it is kind of boring. \u00a0I feel that the plot sometimes are mismatched. \u00a0Too random.<\/li>\n<li>If there were a sequel to the story? \u00a0<em>Stewart Little Two<\/em> &#8211; Margalo and Stewart will be married and give birth to Flying Baby Mice!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>October Favorites:<\/p>\n<p><em>Astronaut Academy<\/em>\u00a0by Dave Roman,\u00a0<em>House of Hades\u00a0<\/em>by Rich Riordan,\u00a0<em>Flower Power<\/em> Series by Lauren Myracle,\u00a0<em>d&#8217;Aulaire&#8217;s Book of Greek Myths\u00a0<\/em>by Ingri and Edgar\u00a0D&#8217;Aulaire, <em>Ballet Shoes\u00a0<\/em>by Noel Streatfeild,\u00a0<em>Rivalry<\/em> by John Feinstein,\u00a0<em>Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption<\/em> by Laura Hillenbrand,\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><em>A Series of Unfortunate Events<\/em> by Lemony Snicket, <em>The\u00a0<\/em><\/span><em>Harry Potter<\/em> series by J.K.
