In fact, what was a problem for some was limiting their list to ten! \u00a0What I love is how the lists show what wide-ranging readers they are. You will see that one moment they are reading very sophisticated books and at the next something young and light. The following are only a few from each child&#8217;s list (which, by the way, they annotated beautifully) to give you a taste of their wide reading range and to use when looking for books for children in your own environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000\">I recommends Jeanne Birdsall&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Penderwick<\/em>\u00a0series, Wendy Wan-Long Shang&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Great Wall of Lucy Wu<\/em>, Linda Sue Park&#8217;s\u00a0<em>A Single Shard<\/em>, Sarah Week&#8217;s\u00a0<em>So B. It<\/em>, and Christopher Paul Curtis&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Mighty Miss.
