This week Second Grade had a glimpse of nostalgia with The Lonely Phone Booth by Peter Ackerman.
This witty picture book is a bittersweet walk down memory lane as a neighborhood realizes that an old phone booth really is important amidst a sea of cell phones. Such a nice story as students continue their New York City study.
