The week of September 27th, Kindergarten students were introduced to The Shelf Elf by Jackie Mims Hopkins.
This endearing picture book tells the tale of Skoob, a busy elf who takes care of the library shelves here in Little Dalton. Throughout the story, Skoob explains the rules of borrowing books and keeping the library looking fabulous as he works hard to get the Golden Shelf Elf Award. Now Kindergarten students know our special friend who helps keep an eye on things around here!
