First Grade classes visited Ethiopia this week.
We enjoyed sharing Silly Mammo, a folktale retold by Yohannes Gebregeorgis (founder of Ethiopia Reads).
Students loved hearing about the mishaps of Mammo – a silly boy who can never seem to get things right.
We also had a chance to discuss the 600s section of the Dewey Decimal System, which houses all the books on Technology!
