Books of the Summer and Fall Months

Andrea Davis Pinkney and Brian Pinkney – a dynamic children’s book author and illustrator duo – visited Little Dalton on October 31st!

Both of these talented individuals have received numerous accolades for their work, including Caldecott Awards and Coretta Scott King Awards.  Students loved hearing all about their process for writing and illustrating books.

May 2010 Book of the Month

In honor of Grandparents/Special Friends Day, the May Book of the Month is one of the 2010 Caldecott Award winners:  All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon.

This charming book brings a beautiful poem to life, reminding us of the wonderful things the world has to offer us – especially family and friends.
