Owl in the Tree

I sketched this little tree yesterday when I was at lunch sitting in the park--no, I didn't really see the owl but i put him in there anyways!

And i'm NOT an artist at all but i do LOVE this year of the sketch. It's so calming to sit and just doodle sometime.... -- Tonya Allen, Head's Office

HS Faculty Workshop

On Wednesday, September 16, 2009, the High School faculty gathered in the cafeteria with David Macaulay for an entertaining and informative workshop.

During the workshop, Macaulay gave several "assignments." Here are some of the faculty sketches in response to the following prompts:
*The Sweeper
*The Escape Route
*The room you teach in
*A box of raisins, a pair of pliers, and a hat, in one picture, expressing embarrassment, happiness, and/or danger.
