How Create & Backup Files from EEEPC
How To Back Up Files on First Class
First you need a document to save:
Turn on EEEPC
Go to: Favorites
Open Documents and write
To save click Save As:
Name your document (ex. Ellis Island Response) Click OK
Your Document is now saved on your EEEPC
NOW YOU MUST BACK IT UP! All documents you create must be saved into your First Class account! The instructions that follow are for when you use your EEEPC.
Log onto First Class
Go to: File Storage
Click on: Upload
Go to: Home/Use
Go to: My Doc
Go to: My Office
Select doc
Click on Open
Your document is now saved in your file storage in your first class account.
To save documents created on any other computer into your First Class File Storage, you do the same steps except after you select upload you select the place where your doc has been originally saved on that specific computer.
To Retrieve a document saved in your First Class Storage account:
Log on to First Class
Go to File Storage
Select doc
Click on Download
Navigate to where you want it downloaded to.
You MUST SAVE back into your FILE STORAGE when you are done!
You then download it back into your file storage which replaces the old one (ex. Ellis Island Response) OR you can save it as a version (ex. Ellis Island Response 2).
