I recommend this book because it is funny. I like the part when owl thought there were strange bumps in his bed. Owl went to bed to rest. He thought that there were strange bumps in his bed, so he went downstairs. The bumps were really . . . . You have to read the story to find out. Owl worries a lot and is very sad sometimes. He also is kind. I like this character a lot.

Rating:
I thought that Freckle Juice was excellent. It had great detail and it could really use it. For example, when Sharon made a frog face, it was dramatic. I liked Andrew because he never lies. As a character, Sharon is the meanest and does not do good things. She does cruel things. Ms. Kelly does not catch all of the bad things that she does. The book Freckle Juice is perfect for kids who like chapter books. It makes me feel like you can just open the book and read.

Sammy the Seal is a good book because it tells how Sammy gets to visit a new place. Sammy is adventurous. He makes friends. I have a book-to-self connection because he made friends in school and I did too! I think that is cool! I recommend that you read this book because it tells you that Sammy Seal gets to see what is outside the zoo.

In the beginning of this book, Little Elephant is sad because he has a stuffy trunk and could not go with his parents, but he is happy when his Uncle Elephant visits and they had fun together. I like Little Elephant because he is so adventurous. I recommend this book because it is very cute and fun to read.

I like this book because it is funny and full of adventure. It is about a cat named Pickles, and Pickles wanted to do big things. My favorite character is fireman Joe. He gets Pickles out of a tree. I recommend this book because it has a problem in it.

I thought that this book was good because it is about girls that are both nice and mean. There was a girl named Wanda who said that she had 100 dresses in her closet, and there were girls named Maddie and Peggy who made fun of Wanda. My favorite character is Wanda because she is nice and forgives Maddie and Peggy. This book makes me feel happy.

I loved it because it had so, so many details and I loved the details! The book was about a little boy named Andrew. He wants freckles. I like Andrew as a character and my favorite part of the story was the ending. I don’t want to spoil it for you but Andrew gets back at Sharon. I feel like there is always a way to get back at a bully that is trying to trick you.

I like this book because it has a lot of adventure in it and because animals and people understand each other. Pickles is a cat that was mean to other cats, but he changed because he wanted to live at the firehouse and do “big things.” To do that, he had to behave. Pickles is one of my favorite characters because he changes in an interesting way and he is exciting. I recommend this book because the story is good and the illustrations are funny.

I like the book because it was funny. When Pickles waved his paw he was saying that he wanted to go with the firemen. Pickles was a cat that was mean to other cats, but he changed. At the end of the book, Pickles was nice. I liked the part where Pickles was very brave and saved the day. This is an excellent book! You would love this book.
