I thought this book was excellent because even though it was set in the war, happy things happened, such as Eva’s parents coming to Dorset to see her and Sheena.

Dear Tom,
I thought it was a good book because it was very interesting. I learned that during the war, children took a train and people that they did not know got to choose them and take them home. I think it’s kind of sad because children had to be away from their parents for a long time. Do you have this book at home?
Your new friend,
Sofia
