I thought it was interesting that a deaf and blind person could be such an amazing person. A girl named Helen got sick and the sickness went away and left her blind and deaf. She had a teacher named Annie. Annie helps Helen sign, understand and behave. Then, Helen becomes famous. I liked Annie, because if it weren’t for Annie, Helen wouldn’t know how to understand, sign and behave. It makes me feel good because Helen was about to learn all of that stuff.

Dear Sofia,
I really loved this book. It is funny, but also sad when Helen comes down from dinner and put her hands in the food and smashes the plates. Annie, the teacher, is very kind.
Best wishes from your new friend,
Isabella

Dear Sofia,
I have read this book and I really enjoyed it because it had a lot of expression
and I loved the pictures. Have you read any Roald Dahl books? They are funny. I think you would like them.
Your best friend,
Tay
