This book is realistic because Mary Titcomb is a real person. She went around the country giving people books from a bookwagon. This book is about a girl named Clara who wanted to read. She is my favorite character because she is interesting. She dreams all the time and she loves reading. I recommend this book because it gives you an idea of what it was like a long time ago.
