I like this book because I like adventures. It is about a mixed-up cat in a quiet yard with other cats, but the yard was too boring, so he moved to the firehouse and became the star of it because he put out a fire. I like Pickles because he likes adventures. I recommend this book because it is a cute story. Pickles starts out mean, but then becomes nice.

I agree It is a very clever book and it does have alot of adventures.Have you read any other Esther Averill?
