I felt like I could not take my eyes off this book. The story hooked me because when Freddy gets to be in a special school play, he is excited to show off and to make his parents think he is special. I recommend this book and my favorite part was when he gets to be in a play.

Sofia, my favorite part is when Freddy gets to be in the play, too. I also thought it was funny when Freddy was dreaming that he and green kangaroos were jumping on his bed. I thought it was an excellent because it was a silly story. I also read Freckle Juice, another book by Judy Blume.

If I could give this book smileys, I would also give it three smileys! I also think that when he was in the play it was my favorite part. It was one of the only books in my book baggie, so I read it a lot. I think my favorite character was Freddy, because he was brave enough to ask his teacher to be in the play and then he got to be in the play.
