Seasons

Frost is in the air.
snowflakes are gently falling.
blanketing the town

Blooming on the trees
the buds will turn to flowers
and flowers to leaves

Summer is coming
as fast as the cool spring breeze
the sun will bring joy

Leaves, so pretty now
dark red, orange, and yellow
falling, to the ground.

Water topic poems

Amazon River

Tender warm water,
Twisting through the rain forest,
Full of piranhas

3D Deep Sea Movie

While I was watching the 3D deep sea movie,
I saw images laden with fish
swimming out of the screen because
of my red 3D glasses.
They were twisting and turning all over my vision.
It looked like I could touch them!
I tried to, but it didn’t work.
So I just felt the dark air
of the dark, dark, movie theater.

Whirlpool

Swirling whirlpool in
The South Pacific Ocean
Salt spray everywhere

Green, Emerald Green, Blue, and Royal Blue

I see,
nice green grass
sprouting out of the water.
The land has grown
gorgeous emerald green trees.

The grass is,
an outstanding shade of green
and very, very, smooth.

The water is,
peaceful, calm, and pretty.

I see two huge
round mountains in the background
which
happen to be beautiful.

Right in the front
an enormous brown log lays on two big rocks.

I see an
amazing royal blue sky!

Seining in the Hudson River

Today was my first time ever to hold,
Striped Bass,
Comb jellies,
and little mini crabs
Petting all different kinds of fish felt rough,
Holding the fish was tough,
I felt bigger and stronger,
Being in the Hudson River felt,
Strange,
Extraordinary,
and alien all at the same time!!!

Haiku

The big wave crashes
We all jump over the water
The birds scatter, away

The tree sways in the wind
It is graceful, and smooth
We all are silent

Footprints in the snow,
Sledding down the great big hill
hot chocolate at home

cloud my cat

So soft
and cuddly
at night
nipping at my toes.
Nipping at them only when they move.
And after that
he goes right under my covers,
and nips some more
but at the buttons of my PJs.
Then with his little cute nose.
He puts it
on my lips,
so he kisses me
in a way,
then he lays
down on my chest
and he goes to sleep,
with me under him.
Then rise
and shine.
In the morning,
I twist and turn
and I wake
we give him food.
But he does not eat it,
I wonder why
I think
and I think.
Oh,
ya
he is at the table eating my food.
what a silly cat!

lammy my lamb

I know I write about him a lot.
So you know pretty much all
but just to make sure,
here it goes.
He is cute!
and fuzzy!
and white!
with eyes like the sky,
I said he is cute,
yes I did,
I very did.
Do you want to see him?
you do!
I wish
he was here.
He would really like you!

My Glasses (All Of Them) by RG

My Glasses (All of them)

One night or day I’m not so sure,
My eyes betrayed me.
Gave me fool’s
sight.
So I got a pair of pure,
jet black glasses.
But my brothers little
fingers destroyed them.
Like a wolf’s,
bloody jaws.
And alas they were shattered.
My second pair were a bit cloudy,
But the didn’t matter much.
But then a great storm
came up in front of my eyes,
And I had to get
a third pair.
My third pair are
Here now,
Resting,
on my nose.

Outside My Window by SP

Outside my window

The streets
slow but fast
for the cars zooming by.
The pretty colors of the leaves
yellow, green and red.
The people sitting on benches
reading
or walking
not on benches
People who are hot or cold
or waiting to cross the road.
The colors of cars
and there different shapes of wheels
parked.
The people
on bicycles or motorcycles
with helmets on.
The people who are getting ice cream
next to the hotdog stand
The pollen in the air
that makes me sneeze
so bad.
The birds flying
through the mixed
blue and white sky.
The traffic light
green, yellow and red
telling me to go or stop.
The bark
on the trees
that are lined
curvy and not.
The dogs
barking
while running with each other.
The shimmering sun
and the shining half moon
in the clouds.

Untitled

I was with my friends.
Walking on the beach.
The sun was setting,
all we saw was purple and orange.
There was a slight breeze in the air.
My friends hat blew off
We ran after it, my friend jumped.
She fell on the sand,
we were walking on wet gooey sand,
it stuck to our feet.
I heard it go squish squash,
our feet sunk into it.
It was high tide so it touched our feet.
It felt so cold, yet good.
I had to run and jump,
I opened my eyes.
I was in the cold salty water of the ocean.
My heart was beating hard,
I ran out and dropped my
weight on the sand,
It all stuck to me,
I felt like an ice cream cone
with sprinkles.
