Four Seasons Poem

Spring rain is gently falling,
the clouds are blocking the sun
the sun is setting
and up comes the moon.
And we are waiting
for another exiting day!

Trees are letting go of their leaves
Their branches are getting really chilly
The leaves that are still on the branches
are turning different colors like yellow or red.

Snow is falling
you can feel the frosty breeze,
everybody is wearing hats and gloves
some days are even blizzards,
and some times it snows really bad.

School has ended,
planes are flying in the sky
Schools are empty
where is everyone?

My Hamster

My hamster is so great and funny,
he’s as cute as a baby bunny.
He’s organized nice and fun,
He can really REALLY run!
He’s the champion hiker of the house,
lucky he’s never met a mouse!
He’s a great eater and drinker, too.
His name is Sam it’s really true.
He likes to run in his run-about-ball.
He runs and runs right down the hall.
He likes to cuddle up with me,
as his whiskers tickle, I laugh with glee.
He never nips and most hamsters do,
he’s so sweet and amazing, too.

That’s my hamster!!!
And that is true.

The Great Start

Having the assist,
in the first game, for the win,
splendid for the team.

The First and Only Loss

The difficult loss,
yesterday,
it was a strange finish,
a 3-2 loss.

Feelings

Tube Slide

Squatting on the tube slide
silently waiting,
to get shoved down the slide
and then finally,
getting pushed,
hard
wee! Feeling the cold water spray my face
and the hard bumps on the padding
going
up and down, up and down
oh such fun!

My necklace

Feeling my necklace the cold green heart in my hand,
hanging on my neck, small and hard but still,
so fragile
the glass keeping it safe.

Reading my book

almost done
one more page
one more paragraph
one more sentence
one word
feeling so excited
my mind racing
my heart beating
I’m done
(got to make a book mark)

The Reason I Like Pancakes by EA

The reason I like pancakes

The reason I like pancakes, is because they taste so sweet!
There very very yummy, and I think they are a treat!
I really like them cooked,
just by me.
Because I think they are the most yummy!
I like to make them into dumplings,
so I can pour,
butter on the top.
It’s one thing that is very special,
and can’t by in a shop!
I cook them so the outside is still very crispy.
But the inside is,
sill mushy.
And if I pour some chocolate inside,
it all gets warm and squishy!
When it’s cooked and ready,
I put it on my plate.
And once I take a bite,
I think it is just great!

Odd Chocolate

Here is chocolate
a weird, funny, odd piece of chocolate.
The chocolate,
in a shape, a great boy shape
a boy, it’s true.

The piece of chocolate is in a shape.
A shape of a boy,
a boy sitting,
a boy sitting on a bench.

The chocolate looks good
so good,
you can’t help it.
You take a bite
what a cream, lays inside!

Lays inside,
inside your, stomach.

Milk

Milk,
I don’t like
no interest for me.

Except,
when you
Mix hot fudge.
To make,
chocolate milk!

Chocolate milk
I like!
Get rid of the milk
to get,
chocolate!

Chocolate,
better than
chocolate milk,
better than
milk!

Milk,
I don’t like
that’s final,
don’t mind.
Rainy day
By Francesca Barasch

Rainy days,
my favorite.
calm peaceful,
quiet and beautiful.

You lay down,
you’re lazy.
Get lost,
in a book.

Rainy days
they’re sleepy,
they put you to bed.
With a lullaby,
rain tapping
on the window.

The Walk In The Forest by LCR

The Walk in the Forest

Walking in the wood,
it is calm
leaves fall across the path.

Water falls across
the path,
it glitters in the sun.

Sun bounces off the water
it is graceful
it is summer time.

The Reason I Like Horses

The reason I like horses,
Is that when you brush them thoroughly they look at you
in a nice way like they are saying,
“Thank you”

The reason I like horses,
is that when you ride them, you feel so free, like a
bird in the open blue sky, you
feel the wind freely swishing in your
face.

The reason I like horses,
is that when you give them
a treat,
their muzzle slimes across your
hand and you laugh so hard,
because it tickles so much.

The reason I like horses is when,
you get onto their back, you feel so
high about the ground,
like you are
touching the sky.

The reason I like horses is because they make
you laugh, like you can never
stop.

The Waterfall

The waterfall flows
over the rocks gently,
and swiftly.
Trees change from
Green to yellow,
Yellow to Orange, Orange to Red,
Red to Brown
and,
Brown to the Ground.
The rocky cliff is,
wet and slippery,
steep and dangerous.
The trees are damp,
their long roots
dripping
with
water.

Untitled

The sky sets beyond
the faraway mountains,
the flowers bloom to
meet its flower
friends.
The plants can
be,
spiky and sharp,
soft and colorful,
short and tall.
Purple, yellow, pink orange,
and green.
Still, the sun sets
beyond
the faraway
mountains.

Out My Window

Out my window I see my terrace
where the plants are waving back and forth.

At night.
I can see a magical view of the moon
it looks like I’m an inch away from it.

I see a long skyline
I can see my whole neighborhood out one window.

There’s one window from a building across from mine
that’s so close,
that I can see what they are doing.

It’s fun, surprising and laughable
to be able to watch the other people
It’s secret
for me.

The Storm

One night,
out my window
I heard a surprising loud sound!
and then a quick flash of light.

I got extremely scared
of the confusing fast moment.

My window was open slightly
some water flickered out
I wanted to close the window
but I was too frightened of that bolt of rain.

I saw a fast shadow
I screamed
I was not fearful this time
But it turned out differently
than I expected,

A familiar person opened the door
and said
Are you okay?

I finally rested my heart
and fell back asleep.

The Dog

There was something in the park,
that I noticed was some kind of creature.
It was furry.

Its coat was long.
It was amazing.
It was gold.
Its fur looked very cozy for a winter’s day.

It was sprinting
with its eye spot on something.

The minute I saw this creature
I was fearless
and wanted to watch more.

Halloween

When I was walking, on Halloween
I saw a big house, that I have not seen
A skeleton was dangling, poof
Then I saw a witch, from the roof
A paper Jack-o-Lantern, stuck to a tree
A giant ghost, as big as me,
Oh Halloween so scary,
Oh I got candy. Just bet me.
