Beautiful Hairpins by SR

Every morning I get up from bed
And I get out my two beautiful hairpins
I walk out to the street with them
I show them off as my hair flows in the wind
My hair and I truly enjoy the hairpins
Look at my hair now, much better
The beautiful colors of fire red, dark sky blue, paper white, grassy green, rusty silver, and bright gold
I’m so glad I went to Kashgar on the Silk Road
These hairpins really show my personality:
Bright, pretty, and colorful
Everyone’s after my hairpins
I have to sprint home to get away from those grabers
Even the rich man down the block is after my hairpins and I
I feel like a movie star with those beautiful hairpins.

Northwest Native American Clothing

What type of clothing they wore

The Native Americans of the northwest hunted, they wore certain clothes to hunt. They wore animal heads to disguise as animals so there pray would think they were an animal, they tried to blend in. They also wore animal heads to have good luck from the animal spirit that they were wearing. They wore shoes. Their shoes are made out of moss or feathers. Men’s shoes were knee high. Women’s shoes were taller. All of these clothes were worn to hunt.

by Louis Sacher

Wayside School is a great book. I would recommend this book for people who love to laugh. This book is about a thirty-story building with lots of kids! So many crazy things happen at that school, for example there’s a teacher named miss Zarves she teaches the class on the 19th floor. But there is no 19th floor in the building. There is more than 1 book in this hilarious series: Wayside School Gets A Little Stranger, Sideways Stories From Wayside School, Wayside School Is Falling Down. The one I’m talking about is Wayside School Gets A Little Stranger. My favorite chapter is Pet Day; in pet day all the kids in the class bring in their pets. This chapter is funny. In this chapter all the kids bring their pets, but some kids bring in their sibling or their friends or family. I really learned about the characters. My favorite character is a teacher named Mrs. Jewels. She is my favorite character because she’s always nice and sensitive to the kids. You should also read this great, funny, exciting book to find out more about Mrs. Jewels and all the other crazy characters!!

Inspired By Harris Burdick Stories

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Alphonse. She was very rich, but very lonely. She didn’t have any friends. Alphonse had chocolate brown hair, and pretty red lips. She lived with her father. He had very dark black hair, very thick eyebrows, and a crooked smile. He was a star. His face showed up all over the newspaper, magazines, and TVs. Alphonse never got to be with her father. Of course she would play with her mother, but her mother passed away years ago. It seemed to Alphonse that everyone in her family just vanished and she was all alone. Alphonse was very miserable like this.
