I put on my helmet
get ready for battle.
I say to myself
put up a fight.
I fight for Persia.
I got ready to die
or be a hero.
My family will cry
at a funeral or cry
in delight.

the-seven-chairs.jpegThe Seven Chairs

There was once a kid named Beano. He was the son of Rudy Guilianni (Rudy was a very rich man). Beano had no friends. Everyone thought he was a geek. Most of the kids at his school had muscle cramps, because they didn’t have comfortibal chairs. All of the cool kids at school said, “I will be your friend if you give me a comfortable chair.” Beano said, “ take Ben-Gay it works.” No one at school actrally did take Ben-Gay.

One day Beano had his father get the most comfortable chairs he could find. His dad found seven chairs. That day Beano sat on the first 4 chairs. On the 5th one he closed his eyes. No one knew why he closded his eyes. They guessed it was because it was his lucky number. When he sat down the chair went up and up until it was in the sky. It was lowering, but where it landed it seemed higher then where it took off.

Food and How to Get it by BB

Food and How to get it

I studied North American Indians from the Northeast area of North America. They lived about 500 years ago. I studied the time of pre European contact. I studied food, how they get it how and how they prepare it to eat. You will hear a lot about what they ate and how they got the food.

Native Americans eat a lot of foods and have many sources to get food. Native Americans ate many kinds of nuts, berries, potatoes, wild rice and turnips. The three crops they ate the most were corn, squash, and beans they called them the three sisters (with no parents). Most people think that only the men hunt the women do to but unlike men they sometimes hunt in groups. And men sometimes cook. They would eat a lot of the big crops corn, beans, squash but the big meat was deer. They would eat so many things. It would be hard to name everything. Almost everybody did a part in getting food and they would learn how to around 5 to 6 years old.

The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles whangdoodle.jpg

By Julie Andrews Edwards

I recommend The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles. I loved the book so much. I think the book is great for kids because it’s three little children in NY. Then they find a new world. It’s very adventurous and there’s a mean person named Prock who doesn’t want them to go. It’s very sad in a way. Well it explains the advantages and disadvantages of your age. So it’s a sad, funny, fun book. It was so much fun to read the book.

8-ben-i-am-from-artwork.jpegI’m from where the great tasting fancy restaurants meet the ice cream store.
I’m from trips to Utah and my mom saying “you can’t go on that hill you’re too little.”
I’m from snow boarding until I’m so cold then have a hot chocolate with my mom inside.
I’m from a small school with great teachers that only care if you’re nice.
I’m from so many people walking down city blocks.
I’m from a great doorman that is only kind and says, “How are you?” but also tells some jokes. (Read on …)
