One day in Dalton Massachusetts the strangest event occurred. There was a man named Brian Westbrook. He was in the military. he was off duty that month. That’s when they came. It was at night, he heard a buzzing sound, then a CRASH! He jumped out of bed and got his gun. He walked to the door with his gun loaded. He heard the bells on his porch ring. He turned over a card table and hid behind it. His hart was beting.rrrrrr. He’d swear he saw the doorknob turn. They busted in, the door shattered, Aliens they fired. They fired everywhere. He returned fire. He killed two before they notest him. He ran up stairs to his room, hiding behind his bed. Before the Alien busted in the room he got a grenade. When they came in he throw the grenade. There was a huge explosion. Brian murmured “ that’s gona wake the neighbors”

Royal Caribbean’s biggest cruise ship ever, Margra, was passing by Venice. She was all white with six blue and grey dolphins. She had fifteen swimming pools, twenty gyms, ten movie theaters, four waterslides, twenty-three restaurants, 14 casinos, 15 game rooms, 3,000,500 suites and 25 lounges. She was carrying her full load, 31,000 people, 400 crew and 115 police. She had four huge engines and a lot of endurance.

A gang of evil people wanted her to crash into Venice. They had a grudge against Royal Caribbean because they were very picky eaters and the cooks in Margra accidentally burned some maple syrup for their french toast. They were George W. Bush, Careet “Carrot” Baldman, Rudy Giuliani and Alexander Backsnout. Their prisoners were Barrack Obama and Hilary Clinton. George was exiled out of America for being such a bad president and Alexander is Albert Einstein’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson. He thought up the “plan”.

It was a strange day in September. The breeze was a spring breeze, except at one place it was icy. Only one tree has no leaves and that place was outside a bedroom that was on the third floor of (what looked like) a regular house. The bedroom had birds on the wallpaper. There was a bunk bed that had frogs on it’s bed covers. The carpet was red and had green and pink lily pads on it. The curtains were made of a glossy pink fabric. It was a rainy day, like spring rain, except snow fell near that bedroom. All of the kids were happy about this strange happening, except Lilac and Rose. Lilac and Rose were in that bedroom, sitting, waiting for this curse to go so that they could get some fresh air and find their parents. Their parents had not come back home in a long time, they had said that they were just going to the grocery store for a few minutes, it turned out that they hadn’t come back and it had already been an hour. Lilac and Rose looked longingly out at the kids that were enjoying themselves, it was soooooooo not fair. No other kids felt the way that Lilac and Rose felt, all happy loving this spell.

Missing in Venice by DS

Once upon a time there was a young witch named Sarah. She lived in Venice, Italy.

She loved playing with magic. One day she was swinging. She let go, and flew quite to far and landed far to lightly. Another day she made a field of flowers open and close their petals and change colors.

Over the years her idea of fun changed to mischief. She liked the sound of the church bells at noon. So one day at 7:30 in the morning when she was bored she made them ring. It caused chaos. People ran around Venice trying to get where they needed to be at noon. One day she needed to get somewhere, but she didn’t have a gondola. So when she saw one empty and docked on the other side of the canal she made it come to her. She made it move itself. Then she saw a ship leaving port. She thought that it would be even better than the gondola so she turned the ship and made it sail toward her. Even with her mighty engines in reverse the ocean liner was pulled further and further into the canal. Then she saw a bird and got an idea. So she let the ocean liner go and went to her magic teacher, professor Nickles, to learn how to fly, but professor Nickles said, “You should not have made the liner do so much destruction.” Sarah was sorry. This time she’d gone to far. Then proffessor Nickles said, “However I think that you might have wanted to use the ocean liner as impressive transport and if I teach you to fly will you promise not to do anything like the ocean liner again?”

Mandy mandy.jpg

By Julie Andrews Edwards

Mandy is a great book by Julie Andrews Edwards. Now, you might have heard her name before. Perhaps in the theaters, or on Broadway? Edwards, besides being the star of the stage, is also an excellent children’s book author.

Mandy is a book about an orphan named Mandy. Mandy’s real name is Amanda. Mandy very much wants her own “place.” When she finds an old cottage, Mandy wants to make it her own. She wants it so much that Mandy even takes things from the orphanage. Mandy is a book for people who like books that have adventure, curiosity, and a touch of mystery all collided into one single book. I really recommend Mandy to anyone who thinks that they can open a book and dive into anything that they encounter.

Native American Shelter

Native Americans used trees to construct thier homes 500 years ago. Men went into the woods and cut down small trees and laid them to dry so they could be poles that would hold up the houses. They use saplings, tree bark, elm trees, chestnut trees, birch bark & cattail. They used cattail and birch bark in wigwams. They used birch bark and trees to make long- houses. They also used spears, axes & peeling bark tools these are both for wigwams and longhouses. Trees were very helpful to Native Americans.

He heard the door open. His heart was pounding. He was sure he had seen the doorknob turn. He locked every door in the house until he heard a crack. It was the doorknob turning again.

He called the F.B.I. They started coming.

He started putting a trap. That was the uninvited guest would walk on the rug, watch to see if anyone was coming, then start sinking in to the ground. He thought it was a very clever idea. Unfortunately the F.B.I. started sinking into his trap.

by Louis Sacher

Wayside School is a great book. I would recommend this book for people who love to laugh. This book is about a thirty-story building with lots of kids! So many crazy things happen at that school, for example there’s a teacher named miss Zarves she teaches the class on the 19th floor. But there is no 19th floor in the building. There is more than 1 book in this hilarious series: Wayside School Gets A Little Stranger, Sideways Stories From Wayside School, Wayside School Is Falling Down. The one I’m talking about is Wayside School Gets A Little Stranger. My favorite chapter is Pet Day; in pet day all the kids in the class bring in their pets. This chapter is funny. In this chapter all the kids bring their pets, but some kids bring in their sibling or their friends or family. I really learned about the characters. My favorite character is a teacher named Mrs. Jewels. She is my favorite character because she’s always nice and sensitive to the kids. You should also read this great, funny, exciting book to find out more about Mrs. Jewels and all the other crazy characters!!
