We recently went for a visit to our First Program buddies. Our buddy house is Ms. Seiffert’s class. When we went to meet our new buddies we mostly talked, played games, drew or had something to eat. We were all sad when we had to leave. We can’t wait for our next visit. Check out our Photo Archive for pictures of our visit!

Halloween at Dalton was awesome. First of all the lobby was decorated with… strips of trash bags (that were supposed to be scary), fake cobwebs, a mural of a grave yard and paper graves with writing on them. Practically everyone dressed up. I saw vampires, witches, waitresses, grim reapers and much, much more. Every Fourth grade class had a Halloween party and a lot of people brought CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best of all the middle school library was covered in all sorts of scary things and if you think that’s cool don’t even get me started about the reading room. Halloween at Dalton was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eeeepcs are mini computers. This is the first year Dalton has experienced them. Eeepc’s are fun, but sometimes they are hard to type with. On the eeepcs you can open first class, first class is where our emails are. Also you can do typing games, learning games, hangman, neo office, you can use the internet, and much more. Most students like to play the typing games and hangman. Kids have learned how to use them pretty easily. Most people use the eeepc’s for when they work on an assignment that requires typing. Most people like the eeepc’s but some think they are really really hard to type with.

In art, some of Farnsworth House has been working on still life drawings, ( in Ms. Sirow’s class). We drew pictures of pumpkins and other gourds.
