For the past few weeks we have been reading Africa is My Home: The Story of Sarah Margru Kinson by my teacher Ms.Edinger. The story is about a girl who is pawned by her father and put on the Amistad which is a cargo that held many slaves; which as illegal because you were only allowed to have a slave who was born in America.

What I liked is how Ms. Edinger made all these poems about how she missed her family. I liked that because you almst think that Sarah Margru Kinson wrote it herself.
