Oliver

On Thursday, January 29th there was a play called Oliver. It was about a orphan named Oliver Twist who gets kicked out of the orphanage he lives in and gets adopted by a shopkeeper named Mr. Sowerberry to work for him. Later after that he gets into a fight and runs away. He meets a man named Artful Dodger who takes and he meets Fogin’s gang who are a bunch of pick pockets and teach him how to steal. He later gets caught pick pocketing a man who later takes him in for him to live with him. I thought it was really good!

  1. This is a decent summary of the play, but what did you think of it? Did you enjoy it? Were there any performances you thought were especially good? Bad? I need a review of it, not just a summary!

  2. I agree with Ms. Edinger! You’ve done a nice job of summarizing what happens in the play, but I’m left wondering what your personal opinion about the performance was?

  3. The Artful Dodger is a boy. (Just saying.) You forget the him in one of your sentences too.

  4. I forgot to say this, but Fagin is spelled Fagin not Fogin.
