When You Reach Me
When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead, is truly a book with a lot of friendship, and cliff hangers. It is confusing yet amazing. It is about a normal girl with alot of mysterious changes happening with her friends, where she works, and much more. It doesn’t quite have happy ending, but worked the way the laughing man planed out. (you will find out what that means if you read the book) My teacher was the one who read us (my class) the book. Now that she read it to us I realize two things: 1 It is helpful to read A Wrinkle in Time first. 2 It is easier to read it with a friend or a group. Although it is complicated it is a great book for kids.

I can’t wait to read this book to my class. We read A Wrinkle in Time in the spring, so we’ll wait awhile to read When You Reach Me. How lucky you are to read an advanced copy. It’s on my list for July. Your review makes me want to read it right away.
