I, c17sh am learning about the pilgrims in school. My teacher found a great book for us to look at. It has quotes from the pilgrims journals and some of there poetry. It is great for a class of fourth graders because it is still in there bad grammar, but it is changed enough to read. After reading a few pages, we got picked a phrase/sentence from the book. Mine is ” compassed about to the very Sea with Okes, Pine Iuniper, Sassafras, and other sweet wood; ” . It is a great way to learn about the pilgrims. I highly recommend this book.
