My Coolest Buddy Ever

I go to the Dalton school. That means I have a 3rd grade buddy. My 3rd grade buddy has a pen pal that lives in New Orleans. She wrote a paragraph about the relationship between her and her pen pal. Look down to read it.

The relationship between my buddy and I is growing after each letter goes back and forth. When I ask or answer a question I feel excited that I am learning something about another student who has a different experience in their education. I like that we are doing this by mail; it wouldn’t be the same if we were doing it another way. The daffodil planting at Isham Park was very fun to do and made me feel proud that I was helping other students with their education.

I have learned many things about my buddy and New Orleans. I know a little about the history of New Orleans, like it was the center of jazz and how Mardi Gras started. He mentioned some of the things he likes to do and the bands he likes. I know a bit about his family, like his mom and dad and his siblings and pets. I know about his birthday, friends, and his likes and dis-likes. I enjoy having a buddy that lives in a different part of the world and experiences different things.
