Well right now my group (me and c17sh) just finished the words and thinking bubbles and things for the comic. We started to draw pictures. Just so you know our chapters are advice from a caterpillar and Pig and Pepper. Our first picture was of the caterpillar sitting on his mushroom and Alice looking at him with an angry expression on her face. Since they are three inches tall the grass comes up pretty high. Our second picture was a close up of the caterpillar sitting on his mushroom with angry expression on his face. Then there is a close up of Alice smiling. Right now we are working on our Father William pictures. We only took the first to paragraphs and the last two paragraphs. So I’m drawing Father William balancing and eel on his nose and c17sh is drawing him standing on his head. So far it’s really fun.

To start learning about Alice we read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Ms. Edinger read the annotated version out loud and we followed along. She read the annotated version so we learned more about Alice and learned the original versions of all of the poems. One of the things we learned is that Lewis Carroll’s real name was Charles Dodgson. Lewis Carroll is an anagram of Charles Dodgson We also watched 1900’s House to see what life was like at the time of Alice. Then we studied comics. What the speech bubbles would look like for different characters, how to show movement and how to show sounds. After that we chose our favorite Alice chapters. We got paired up with a partner and chose the scenes. And then we started writing the script.
