This is a nice start, but you need a few more details to pull together your paragraph. You’ve mentioned some important points in Grant’s life, but you kind of jump around between them without a lot of supporting details. Also, watch out for proper capitalization (as in Mexican War).

This has the potential to be a very interesting article — I’d encourage you to add a few details about the invention of the TV (you mention it once and then never again, but this is Farnsworth’s claim to fame!) Also, remember to capitalize the names of cities, such as Beaver City, Utah.
