Ulysses Simpson Grant, the greatest general in the world.

    • Ulysses Simpson Grant was born in Point Pleasant Ohio on April 27, 1822. He went to West point to become a member of the United states army. He fought in the mexican war as a Captain. When the war was over he went home and got married. After that he went to fight in the Civil War. He was known as one of the greatest generals of all time. He died on july 21 1885.

      This is a nice start, but you need a few more details to pull together your paragraph. You’ve mentioned some important points in Grant’s life, but you kind of jump around between them without a lot of supporting details. Also, watch out for proper capitalization (as in Mexican War).
