Sara Margu Kinson
Africa Magru Kinson By Ms. Edinger is a heart moving story of a girl pawned by her father and put on the Amistad. It is poetic and is very well written “My mother cries I remember her cries as I left” is from a quote from a poem in the book about her mother as she leaves her African home. I like how Ms. Edinger used three of the five senses. Smell the smells of the Amistad, the sight of snow and the sounds of horses and of America. She had feelings of being taken away from everything she loved. It’s wonderful how it is the story of the Amistad through a young girls eyes plus more. It is a great way for kids to learn about how things were for those people in a fun way. It was so much fun!

I love too this review, especially the line about the three senses!
