Here are some facts about Niagra falls, which is also in New York.
At the beginning it was just a mountain with a summit and spruce. But a little after it was the Palaeo-Indian period which lasted until about 10 thousand years ago Niagra falls had the Clovis people. These people were thought to camp around Lake Eerie, and they were the first people to see the Niagra falls get formed.
This natural wonder has been a tourist hot-spot. When you see it the falls are rather mystical. Even artists and writers come to observe the beauty of the falls.
I also have a article about the history.
In colonial times the first explorer from Europe ever to set foot in New York soil was Giovanni da Verrazano. Later the Dutch claimed part of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware as New Netherlands because of explorer Henry Hudson who went far into the Hudson river. The first fort in New York state was fort orange which was founded by the Dutch in 1624. That was when they founded the town New Amsterdam in New York city which was called New Amsterdam back then. After it was founded they hired a Governor that sought war with the Indians and started the Orange wars. But after that he died and they replaced him with Governor Peter Stuyvesant who fixed the city so there were police men and walls surrounding and he also made the fort better and made a treaty with the Indians of New york city the English came in with warships that would outmatch the fort by a huge leap. They took over and named the king gave it to the duke of York as his birthday present that is why it is currently called New York. A nearby place which was called fort Orange is now Albany.
That’s everything.

These are great first drafts. I want you to look over your writing and keep an eye out for the following: run-on sentences, capitalization of proper nouns, and proper spelling. For example, Niagara is misspelled in your first article. Overall, the details are great and you should feel very good about the work you’ve done on this assignment!
