Wisconsin: Do you know Barbies?

WARNING:              IF YOU THINK BARBIES ARE GROSS AND WIERD DON’T READ THIS POST!!

You know how everyone says that Ken and Barbie are boyfriend and girlfriend? Well, that’s not true! Barbie and Ken are brother and sister. (If you really want to know the whole Barbie History click here.) Barbie dolls were first made in Willows, Wisconsin. If you click on the link you will see the history, but if you don’t, you can only imagine, Barbies were a lot different than now. If you ask me, Barbie has an extremely large head. Well it’s not that large, but it is thin, pointy and long. As you know Barbie has spread all over the world. On every little girl’s wish list I bet there will be something to do with Barbies, even if they don’t know it. After age 10, everyone thinks they are weird and gross, but I think some people still play with them. Anyway, there is even a Barbie website, those Webkinz type things where your Barbie comes to life (click here). If you look at the bottom of the most recent link, you will see the doll from the new link is the same as the old one. Well, that’s pretty much the whole story. If you haven’t looked at any of the links and are interested, go ahead, please. Bye!

This was very interesting to read! One question: Were Barbie dolls invented in Wisconsin, or actually manufactured there? Also, who thinks they are weird and gross!? I love Barbie Dolls!
