In our first step we( That means c16kd and I) we read and saw moives about Alice and Wonderland and moives from that time. In our second step we wrote a script. In our third step we drew pictures for the comic and scaned them in. In the fourth section we used Comic Life. Now we had a big Tea Party.

Since my last post, we have been writing a script for our Alice comic. Like I said in my last post I’m doing the chapter “Pig and Pepper” to where (just to tell you I’m repeating what I said in my last post) Alice finds a house. Then a fish footman comes out of the forest….who cares, I’ll just show you the draft. Here it is:

Rough Draft

For a minute or two Alice stood looking at the house, and wondering what to do next. (Alice staring at the house)

Then suddenly a fish footman came running out of the forest.
(FF running out of the forest)

And knocked on the door. (FF knocking)

Another footman opened the door, but this time it was a frog. (FF1 opening door)

“From the Queen. Invitation for the Duchess to play croquet.” The fish footman said. (FF talking)

Alice went in to the house and led right to a large kitchen. She discovered the duchess over a cauldron putting massive amount of pepper in the cauldron while holding a baby. (Duchess with cauldron holding a baby)

“There’s certainly to much pepper in that soup!” Alice said to her self. (Alice talking)

Then Alice saw a cat with a grin ear to ear. It was the Cheshire Cat!
(Cheshire Cat)

“Why does your cat grin like that?” Alice asked. (Alice asking)

“It’s a Cheshire Cat that’s why. Pig!” The duchess said. (Duchess replying)

“I didn’t know cats could grin!” Alice said. (Alice talking)

“You don’t know much and that’s a fact.” The Duchess replied. (Duchess insulting her)

The Duchess starting singing a harsh lullaby to her child: “Speak roughly to your little boy, and beat him when he sneezes, he only does it to annoy, because he knows it teases.” (Duchess singing)

Alice takes the baby, for the duchess was very rough with it. She runs out the door, and to her surprise baby turns in to a pig! (Alice holding a pig running out the door)

“If you are going to turn in to a pig, my dear then I have nothing to do with you!” Alice said while dropping the pig.

Then she was started by seeing the Cheshire Cat a few yards in the distant. (Alice looking)

She went up to the cat and asked “Which way I ought to go from here?” (Alice talking to CC)

“In that direction.” The Cheshire cat said.(CC talking)

“But I don’t want to go among mad people” Alice said.

“You can’t help that. Everyone’s mad here. Your mad. I’m mad. Everyone’s mad.” The Cheshire Cat said. (CC talking)

Then slowly the cat disappeared.

These are the steps to do the comics that we are doing. Some we have started but not finished. I will write down on those.

* We listed the little parts (that show it best) that we wanted from the big chapter, Done
* We wrote down the parts in a large form (that would be the part labeled rough draft and ends at the cat slowly disappeared. Done

*We are drawing for our comic.

See you next Thursday.
