Pam Bachorz’s Candor
Candor by Pam Bachorz is a very good book, in the perspective of a teen named Oscar Banks, who lives in Candor, Florida. He lives there with his father, it’s sort of a mystery to find out about his brother, Winston, and mother, Lucy. Candor is different than other towns though. All the kids are perfect, the are just what their parents want them to be. That’s because they subconsciously get messages delivered into their minds. These messages would tell them to do this or not. Oscar’s father, Campbell, makes up these messages, but Oscar has been there so long he can fight them. Everything changes when outlaw Nia comes to Candor.
I would say this book is 13+. I really loved it though. I think it is just my kind of book. It’s science fiction and a bit of horror. I don’t like horror but I love this book so not that much horror. Anyway this book is great and you should read it.
