My job is to tell the reader what they want to know. I needed to be really detailed and creative at the same time. I really think everybody should have their own blog because it is very entertaining and a good way to have fun! It is also really annoying when teachers blame you for everything bad that happens! (Like the noise that copy and paste makes makes them think that your up to something like playing computer games!)

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood-Bye!!!!!!!!

In school we are studying forced immigration. It is about the people on ships like the Amistad that came from Africa to America as slaves. I liked reading the book, The Amistad. I thought the study was really interesting, especially the part when we saw a PowerPoint about Olaudah Equiano. I learned that Olaudah was kept in jail until the ship came. We met c16ts’ dad who is from Sierra Leone. He showed us pictures and items. Well anyway, it was really interesting and educational.

Dear Grandfather,
‘Tis beautiful in the new world. There is a great abundance in crops and livestock. ‘Twas very hard the first winter and I was very scared. We suspect lions in the woods and bears on the shore because of fearsome noises. I helped mother plant our garden and Master Alder plaster his walls. Food is plentiful and very sweet. Father is very happy with our house and so am I. On the ship the Billington boys set off squibs and scared the living daylight out of everybody. Then their mother scared the living daylight out of them. I can’t wait to see you again.

Sincerely,
William Taylor More
