Edgar the Falconer’s Son

Hello! In class we have been reading a book called Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! We each got to pick a character from the book and read his or her poem. Mine is about is a falconer’s son. (See Podcast Bellow)

Thanks for reading the words of Edgar. I noticed that you love birds, but when I hear about sewing the falcon’s eyes shut, it makes me wonder if you’d like to be a falconer? It sounds like hard work. I like to watch birds, and I’ve raised chickens, but now I just like to feed them and watch them whenever I can. But not pigeons. I never feed pigeons. Thanks again, Carol

  5. I haven’t had a chance to see the book Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! yet, so I really appreciate your post. I think it’s a sad poem, but you make Edgar sound very strong minded.
