This was the coolest book I have ever read! No, really. This book shows you how to do “absolutely everything, one step at a time.” This book actually does show you how to do anything, from making mini robots, doing amazing stunts, making plantable cards, and decoding messages. There are some great art projects in there, and some surprising facts that I never thought could be possible. Here is an example of a mind blowing trick! I tried this and it WORKS!

You need: a piece of tape, a pin and a balloon.

1) Stick one edge of the tape in your palm where it isn’t visible to your friend.

2) Hand the balloon to your friend for an inspection. Nothing is wrong with it.

3) Ask him or her to inflate it if they want to, or you can do it for them. Then tie it.

4) Without letting your friend notice, gently stick the tape to the balloon. DON’T LET THEM SEE IT!

5) Press the pin into the spot where the tape is–nothing happens!! Your friend is shocked. (Don’t let them see the tape!!)

6) Pop the balloon for a big finish!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It was actually a funny thing that happened. I had a new, juicy Barnes and Noble gift card that I was ready to use. So I went down there and purchased a whole bunch of really good books. But as I was leaving, I saw this book. And I read the back and it sounded like the best book ever!!!! But I had used up my card, so I had to wait until my next birthday. But not anymore, because Ms. Edinger gave it to me to read last week!!! And it was, as I predicted, the best book ever. Umbrella Summer is a book about a little girl named Annie. Annie used to be a really fun, outgoing girl, but when Annie’s brother, Jared dies, Annie opens her umbrella of sadness and protection. She starts wearing a helmet in the car and riding her bike down the hill, stops eating hotdogs and doing obstacle courses, some of her favorite things. It takes a sweet old lady, an interesting book (and two not interesting ones) to convince Annie, that maybe she can start to close her umbrella of unhappiness and go out into the sunshine. Altogether this was a great book and I loved it and everybody in the world should read it!!!

You will never believe this: now, not only am I a book blogger, I am a MOVIE BLOGGER, too!!!!! The book blogging club went to see the movie, Where the Wild things Are, and it was really good! Well, I kind of love-hated it. Some parts of it were really dark, which I didn’t like, but some parts of it were great; funny, happy, and all based on the children’s book. The beginning of it was like the book at least, but not all of it!! It sort of took off after that! There was much, much more to it. I wouldn’t recommend it to little kids who are into the book, because it was a little more mature than that, but also, even though it was a little mature, I wouldn’t exactly recommend it to an adult who comes by themselves without a family because it is mostly a family movie. I liked it, but like a said, it was a love-hate kind of like.

These kids find a magical wall that can transport you to different places, time, or places and time!! They go on adventures to visit medieval castles, terrible pirates, american history (which actually wasn’t as bad as it sounds!!!), and the most exciting place of all!!!! Which I won’t tell you so you will have to READ it to find out!!! Altogether this was a super dooper book and the illustrations were really cute and a nice touch. You should read it. Really. RIGHT NOW. I’m watching you. It doesn’t look like you’re reading it. READ IT!!!!!!

Finally! The last one! Me and TF have successfully finished our comic. Like I said, we were chapter one so I will put a link to the comic so you can see how it goes. (Just before you click this read the rest of the post and do the other links.) Alice in Wonderland Comic. Here is a link to the First Alice Post I wrote. Here is The Second One I wrote. Here is The Third One. Last but not least, here is The Fourth. Now you can go to the comic. (The first link I wrote). And if you want to see the entire class comic, go to
All Chapters. So C’mon! I worked so hard and the least you can do is read this! Soon I won’t be able to even write in this blog! Please! (P.S. Here is a link to the poorly behaved yet very weird and easy to work with, c16tf’s blog. I couldn’t have done it without him!)

(I am ready for my closeup! Really!) So here is a story about my journey here. Though it was only two blocks away, though I would come back every Thursday for a piano lesson, this was scary. A new school, new teachers and classes, more homework, and being on the same staircase as high-schoolers! Aahhh! This was the turn of the century! (yeah, I don’t get out much.) So soon my buddy will interview me. (I make long stories for little things. Have you noticed?)
