The first book I just read is called When You Reach Me, by Rebecca Stead. IT WAS AMAZING!! Really, it’s been a while since I’ve read a nice good book. I mean, for school lots of times and I have read lots of not-so-great books, but this one was REALLY special. It’s about a girl named Miranda. She and her mom live in a small apartment in New York City, but the whole scenario makes you feel like she’s wedged in a small not-very- busy town.  One day, Miranda starts getting secret notes from someone.

“I am coming to save your friend’s life, and my own. I ask two favors. First, you must write me a letter.”

That is a quote from one of the first notes. Read this deliciously dedicated book and find out: WHO is writing Miranda  these suspicious letters? IS IT the same person who broke into her house? WHY has her best friend left her? WHEN will she find out these things for herself?????
