Okay, my favorite part was the “stop recording!” at the end. I know you didn’t mean for it to be there, it was an accidental addition to Ms. Schlitz’s work, but it highlighted for me, just for a moment, the connection between you reading this today and the young girls in the world that Ms. Schlitz wrote about. Thanks.

Thanks for reading Maud and Mariot for all of us to hear. It’s hard to read as a dialogue and I think you did great. I recognized Monica’s voice from our meetings, and it is fun to hear how well you work together. I hope both your parents don’t think of you as a lamb to the slaughter and someone they have to marry off. What an awful thing. It makes me glad that I didn’t live back then. Thanks again, Carol
