Good Masters! Sweet Ladies!

My class read the book Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Everyone in my class read a poem from the book. We also made a podcast of everyone’s voice. I actually got to do a two-person-poem with my teacher, Ms. Edinger. (Cool thing: she was on the Newbery!!) If you click on the play button below, (the triangle for those of you who don’t know) you can hear me and Ms. Edinger’s poem!!! Remember– I play Mariot and she plays Maud!

Thanks for reading Maud and Mariot for all of us to hear. It’s hard to read as a dialogue and I think you did great. I recognized Monica’s voice from our meetings, and it is fun to hear how well you work together. I hope both your parents don’t think of you as a lamb to the slaughter and someone they have to marry off. What an awful thing. It makes me glad that I didn’t live back then. Thanks again, Carol

I think that was really awesome and I like how you read it like a poem.
when are you going to do another podcast?

  3. Okay, my favorite part was the “stop recording!” at the end. I know you didn’t mean for it to be there, it was an accidental addition to Ms. Schlitz’s work, but it highlighted for me, just for a moment, the connection between you reading this today and the young girls in the world that Ms. Schlitz wrote about. Thanks.
