To our beloved sister Mary Alice,

We miss you so greatly. `Tis quite strange in this new world. Work that be done by beasts now have to be done by man. But thou realizes that they’d rather do the work and stay alive than shrival away to nothingness. We’ve seen so many people go it’d be quite tradgic to see one go now, after all we made it through. Food is interesting but we can complain. It’s tough to get what we have. The houses are fine, we’ve gotten used to them by now. I hope that some day you will come to this new world too.

How’s little Issac? He miss us, nay? We hope he’s doing well, `twas a difficult parting between him and mother. How old is he now? He must be at least 4.

Send him and everyone our love,

Catherine and Henry
