NOLA paragraph
My third grade buddy from little Dalton has a buddy from New Orleans. He is quite interesting, so she will be writing about him below:
I felt nervous when I found out we were going to have NOLA buddies because I was worried that it wouldn’t be a girl. My buddy’s name is Richard and all of the buddies are in third grade at The Lusher School. They are planting Southern Bald Cypresses in the school nursery for science. Our relationship is that we both wrote poems called I am from poems. We talk about our cities and lives in our letters. It feels good to know that I have a buddy so far away and it’s nice to learn so much about New Orleans.

I wasn’t that nervous when I found out that I had a buddy in Little Dalton because we get a buddy every year. We share a lot in common such as: we both like to draw pictures and we both have had pen-pals.

I love that picture of you and your buddy! You have a great look on your face — like you know something on the sly that the rest of us don’t, and that you think it’s really funny. Please post more pics!
