We have learned all about it and have watched the movie. But you should read the book first because then you understand the movie better. For example the Winged monkeys never come to save Dorothy. I like the movie because you can see whats going on a little better. Also I love We’re Off to See the Wizard song. Sometimes I’ll just start singing it, and personally, it is probably my favorite after Somewhere over the Rainbow. The biggest difference is probably how I thought the yellow brick was a lot different then the movie. In the movie it looks painted, and it doesn’t look real. But, the book is still the American classic.
