But you should read the book first because then you understand the movie better. For example the Winged monkeys never come to save Dorothy. I like the movie because you can see whats going on a little better. Also I love We&#8217;re Off to See the Wizard song. Sometimes I&#8217;ll just start singing it, and personally, it is probably my favorite after Somewhere over the Rainbow. The biggest difference is probably how I thought the yellow brick was a lot different then the movie. In the movie it looks painted, and it doesn&#8217;t look real. But, the book is still the American classic.</p>
