My third grade buddy has a pen pal in the New Orleans. They write to each other. “I love having a Nola buddy, it’s good to know my fourth grade buddy nows about my Nola buddies life!” It must of been scary for the Nola buddies I know I would this is what my third grade buddy wrote.

When I found out that I had a New Orleans buddy I didn’t know what to think. I was very excited, but also very nervous. I was also very happy because I never had this experience before. It’s good to know I have a friend so far away. It’s fun to learn about my Nola buddies life. I love having a Nola buddy! New Orleans is in Louisiana, the Lusher school is in New Orleans, and our buddies are 3rd grade children. They celebrate Mardi Gras (fat Tuesday) it was February 5th, the day right before Ash Wednesday. New Orleans was hit by a hurricane, Katrina, in 2005. The most water damage was from the breaking of levees. We have been studying our buddies for a little while now, and they have learned about us too.
