The Journal of Wong Ming-Chung:A Chinese Miner
The Journal of Wong Ming-Chung is a book about a child who goes to America to help his uncle find gold. Laurence Yep uses a lot of Historical fiction in it, such as he said that the Americans blamed the Chinese for everything, from lower wages to rain. He also described a lot of stuff. Like when he described the British man by saying that he had pale skin, he had hair the color of dirt and eyes like the sky. If you want to find out what happens in the book, read the book.

Actually, I think you meant to say that Yep uses a lot of real historical information in his book not “Historical fiction.” Do you think he did a good job writing this book?

I like how you describe the quotes from the book. I also think you should get some more historical facts.

Good post, but I have a few questions:
What are some other examples of good description?
What are some other examples of great writing?
Where does Wong come from?
