The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz Versus Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Remember the all about Alice series? Well here’s an addition to it. Over the past few weeks, we have been doing a study of The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz. Now, I march in to tell you why I think it is better than Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland. Hut, Hut, BOOM!!! Sorry, I just got bombed by little pieces of paper. Let’s see what they say. I think the WOZ is better than AAW because: The WOZ takes place in a more magical land, and has a better background of the writing. The Wizard of Oz has a better movie and even though there are more versions of Alice, there is series of WOZ books. The characters in WOZ seem a little bit more magical than in Alice. For example, A rabbit that can talk and a girl who falls down a rabbit hole vs. a girl that is flying in a tornado and doesn’t die when it lands, and a walking talking scarecrow who is stuffed with straw. Now come on. Which is more magical. If you DARE disagree with me, leave a comment and nicely tell me why. If you DARE agree with me, leave a comment and nicely say why. Bye, Bye. BOOM!!!

So – I accept your DARE!!! I think both are magical – munchkins and yellow brick roads and cowardly lions and tin men who need to be oiled and then mad hatters and croquet playing cards and rabbit holes and people growing bigger and smaller. I think it’s all magical and how lucky you are to be studying such wonderful literature.
