Good Masters! Sweet Ladies!
As you may know, my teacher, Ms Edinger was on the Newbery Committee. You may also know that the book that won the Newbery award is a book called Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! a medieval poetry book by Laura Schlitz. On Friday March, 1 we each picked a piece of poetry from that book and read it aloud to the class. We also pod-casted it. I picked Piers the Glass Blowers Apprentice. Here is my pod-cast.

I so much enjoyed hearing you read your poetry selection - you did a beautiful job - reading it with so much feeling. I would like to hear more!

It was fun to hear you read Piers story. It is hard to have to wait to try something, but the master maybe knew what he was doing. Or did he? I’m very glad no one made you wait to learn how to podcast. I hadn’t heard anyone reading the different characters and thanks to you I am enjoying it all over again– in a new way. Carol

I liked that very much, particularly that little prayer at the end. I am still sixth in line for this book at my local library, so I wouldn’t know a word of the monologues without you. Thanks.
