"I sing little poems in the day on the ship
I think they sound like Africa."

I loved these two lines. They convey a real sense of another person and his or her sense memory. Lovely work.

Hi there! I'm Little Willow. I have always enjoyed the story of Peter Pan - especially the character of Tinker Bell and the thought of fairy dust. I hope you've read J.M. Barrie's original book too. I've read a lot of books that re-tell the story, including this title you reviewed. Have you tried any of the books in the Disney Fairies series? They are pretty cute. My favorite Peter Pan re-telling is a horror novel for adults called Straight on 'til Morning by Christopher Golden.

I have listened to the audiobook of Peter and the Shadow Thieves. Jim Dale, who also reads the Harry Potter audiobooks, did an excellent job bringing that story to life.

Your review of the sequel is very descriptive and you have reminded me that I need to find the audio version of this book too. I always trust the recommendations of students!

You liked this book a lot. I read it and, while I liked it, I did not love it. I did like the plot about switching the trunks and trying to fool the villians. This was an excellent review. I think there is a sequel to this book that is out now.
