Through September – February and 2006 – 2007 Edinger house studied forced immigration.

We are studying it because a visitor came and she said it would be a great subject for our class. My teacher Monica Edinger you might know her from her books, or her blog.

The first thing we did that is apart of forced immigration is tape record somebody went though immigration. I interviewed my dad because he is from Jamaica. Out of the recordings, we made a book when we finished.

The second thing we did is read the retold story of Sarah Margru Kinson by Monica Edinger. It was about a girl from Africa and she was a slave on the ship called the Amistad. It was a good book, you should read it.
