I really loved your story and the way the necklace was the mom like the tree was in Achenputtel. Is that where you got the idea? I thought that it was really cool! Pet fish huh. Did they get married in the end? I hope not.

"Cinderguppy the fish and Tommy the human invite you to their wedding". Now THAT would be a funny wedding!

Great Story!

I think that your story was great and very creative. I like how you say "when she got there the ball in full swim".

I really like this book. It's so sweet, and so unlike a lot of other books out there. Have you read RULES by Cynthia Lord? Give that a try too - Oh, and a book called REACHING FOR SUN by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer that comes out in March! I think you'll like it!

I have heard from teachers and students that this is a very moving story. Your review has given me a better idea of what the story is about.

It was on the Texas Bluebonnet Reading list last year but I never got around to reading it. I will definitely check this book out now.

I hope the students that played the parts know how well you think they did. I liked your review because you talked about not only the plot- but the people that played the characters. That's why plays are different than books- you see someone in a part that is different from how you might imagine the person. (I like both of books and plays a lot.)

The Journal of Wong Ming Chung is okay. Right now I am reading To Kill a Mocking Bird By Harpper Lee it is a bit slow but I like it. I read Things Not Seen a couple years ago it was good. Do you like it?
Bye.
